Professor Lynda Warren

Reviews concerns about the functioning of environmental law in Wales.

Lynda has been working in the field of environmental law and policy for over 30 years. 

She has been a member of several UK government committees including the Countryside Council for Wales, Natural Resources Wales, and the Joint Nature Conservation Committee for which she was deputy chair. 

She has postgraduate qualifications in biology and law and has worked in academia for over 40 years, most recently as Professor of Environmental Law at Aberystwyth University. 

She is an Honorary Professor at Bangor University where she regularly teaches coastal zone law. She was awarded an OBE in 2017 for services for the protection of the environment in the UK and overseas and is a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales.
