There are six liaison officers, across Wales, working to develop the National Forest network.

Liaison officers work for Natural Resources Wales and can help woodland owners by sharing knowledge and providing advice about:

• creating and enhancing woodland sites
• making applications for the National Forest for Wales Status Scheme
• woodland and forestry funding opportunities
