4. Objectives of the scheme
The objectives of Llwybr Newydd to encourage shift from private car ownership (to reduce overall road mileage) and Net Zero Wales to decarbonise transport.

The subsidy is aimed at community focussed third sector organisations able to provide the services required to an appropriate standard in a locale identified as meeting the criteria for need.

£5 million
10. Form of support
All subsidy awarded under the scheme will be awarded by way of grants/loans.
11. Eligibility terms and conditions
The supplier must be able to provide everything necessary to support communities to establish and operate a successful EV Car Club (i.e. vehicles, technology, marketing).
12. Basis for calculating subsidies
The subsidy value will be calculated and assessed based upon the anticipated number of Community EV Car Clubs it stimulates (both immediately and in the longer term) and the membership of those clubs. Ultimately to result in reduced private car ownership and therefore reduced private car mileage.
13. Maximum subsidy allowable under the scheme
