Llwybr Newydd the Wales transport strategy 2021: monitoring framework
We are monitoring the progress of our 20 year strategy.
This file may not be fully accessible.
This framework will track progress against our priorities and ambitions.
There are:
- 6 key measures, and
- 27 subsidiary measures
The key measures are the most important. They support our aims of mode shift and carbon reduction.
Highlighted measures show progress towards each priority and ambition in the matrix.
A full description of each of the measures is in the technical report. Transport for Wales has collected data for each measure to give a picture of the current status. They will review the data and update it each year.
Priorities:
- bring services to people in order to reduce the need to travel
- allow people and goods to move easily from door to door by accessible, sustainable and efficient transport services and infrastructure
- encourage people to make the change to more sustainable transport
Ambitions:
- good for people and communities
- good for the environment
- good for the economy and places in Wales
- good for culture and the Welsh language
