Dear
Request for Information – ATISN 16265
I wrote to you on 28 April regarding your request for information regarding The Bus Decarbonisation Task and Finish Group.
Information requested
You asked for:
- The number of meetings held in each calendar year from 2011 to 2021 (or from whenever the entity in question was created or established until 2021, if later); and
- The cost in maintaining the same, again broken down by calendar year and over the same period
Our Response
I can confirm the Welsh Government holds information captured by your request.
For question one, The Bus Decarbonisation Task and Finish Group dedicated 366 hours across 9 workshops and additional preparatory and research time between November 2021 and March 2022. The work of the group is now complete.
For question two, the cost of the entire exercise was £100,000, which was spent on facilitating the group, background research and report writing. However, all the members of the group gave their time free of charge.
