Dear                  ,

ATISN 16143

I wrote to you on 17 March regarding your request for information regarding Compulsory Purchase Orders for Road Schemes in Wales.

Information requested

You asked:

  1. Can you provide the number of houses purchased under compulsory purchase orders for each of the road schemes under review?
  1. Can you provide the cost of each home, the year they were purchased and whether they have been sold or not?

Our Response

I can confirm the Welsh Government holds some of the information captured by your request. For question one, the Flintshire Corridor Improvements scheme has replaced the old A55/A494 Ewloe Interchange scheme. Property number 3 in Ewloe was originally purchased in 1996 for the original scheme and is now part of the Flintshire Corridor Scheme under review.

For question two, property number 3 was originally purchased in 1996, however, we do not hold any information on the purchase price. This information pre-dates our electronic filing system and any paper records we may have held are no longer available to us.

No.
