In relation to Swansea Bay University Health Board:
- To confirm if you are entitled to view information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding waiting lists and specifically to ask how many patients are ahead of me at any given time
Our Response
Welsh Government does not hold the level of information you are requesting with regards to waiting lists for the Swansea Bay University Health Board. We only hold total numbers waiting with no identifiable information on individuals on the waiting list.
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) provide a right to know whether a public organisation holds recorded information and a right of access to that recorded information, unless one or more legal exemptions apply. Therefore, we are able to confirm that you are able to make Freedom of Information requests to Swansea Bay University Health Board.
