Dear

ATISN 15978

Thank you for your request which I received on 18 January 2022. You asked:

  1. How many British Muslim employees have you recruited? Please provide figures for every year since 2010.

The table below details the new starters in each year, both temporary and permanent, and the number of those that expressed a particular belief. Please note that in each year a significant number of those recruited did not specify a particular belief, ranging from 13% to 36% depending on the year in question. There may, therefore, be significantly more Muslim employees than are recorded officially.
