Discovery
PUBLIC and the Centre for Digital Public Services have been working on the discovery exercise for eProcurement in Wales. The discovery is now complete, and a draft digital roadmap is being considered. PUBLIC presented their recommendations at the eProcurement user group on the 13 October.
Single Procurement Document (SPD)
We have been working with our service provides, Sell2Wales (S2W) and eTenderWales (eTW), on improving the usability of the SPD between the 2 systems.
Since 30 September, buyers have been able to export created SPD from S2W and import a tender into eTW. Suppliers can now respond to questions in eTW and responses will be stored against their profiles, providing a similar function to the Supplier Qualification Information Database (SQuID).
We will inform suppliers of these changes, and recommend that buyers communicate these changes to their own suppliers.
The SPD should now be used as default. The SQuID will be removed from Sell2Wales by the end of 2021. Further information will follow in due course.

Dun & Bradstreet (D&B)
A new Fair Usage Policy document was circulated to D&B users, that use the system via the Welsh Government agreement, outlining the updated user and licence management process moving forward. Under this policy, we have stated that there should be no more than 5 users per authority, in order to stay within the 500 user limit. This will prevent us exceeding our data allowance under the contract.
All approved users utilising the tool will be required to adhere to the updated policy to ensure fair and proportionate usage across all organisations.
The policy will enable us to maximise our use of D&B across all organisations.
