Our publication scheme lists categories of information we publish or intend to at the Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA).
Contents
We’re committed to being transparent and accountable as a public authority. The Freedom of Information Act encourages us to make as much information available to the public as possible. We publish data that people need to understand:
- who we are
- what we spend
- what we achieve
The Act requires us to produce a publication scheme which contains routine information we make available. We group information under the following classes of information.

- Make transparency a part of how we operate.
- Publish data by default where possible.
- Publish data in line with the public data principles.
- Make datasets available for re-use, and in a reasonable and practical format.

Requesting information
We’re committed to providing as much information as practically possible under the scheme. This makes information easily accessible, without charge.
This also means that in many cases, the information you’re looking for will already be available and you’ll not need to make a formal request.
If you cannot find what you are looking for, or wish to request further information, you can email data@wra.gov.wales. There’s no charge for information which we provide electronically.
Requesting paper format
If you ask us to provide the information available on our website in paper format, we may need to make a charge. Each case will be considered separately.
For example, we may charge if a large amount of photocopying is required, or if the cost of postage of a large volume of paperwork is very high.
Accuracy
It’s important to us that the information we provide is relevant and up to date. Most of the information included in our scheme will be current. However, we may need to publish certain classes of information from the past.
We'll provide as much information as possible, but past information in the scheme will not always be available.
