An evaluation assessing the implementation, delivery and progress of a programme which aims to re-develop unused buildings and land in and around town centres.
This is the latest release
Building for the Future is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. It aims to support the Welsh Government’s regeneration policy objective of increasing vibrancy and footfall in town centres. It does this through investment in the development of unused or underutilised sites that will lead to the location of businesses and new jobs.
The evaluation summarises findings related to policy context, implementation, delivery, progress and views on regeneration activity. Recommendations are also suggested for future policy and delivery.
The final evaluation is due to report in 2022.
