The Tiny Rebel Brewing Company, based in Newport, was founded in 2012 by brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams and in just 5 years, the company has grown rapidly.
The company’s turnover has grown to around £7m a year and now employs 120 staff.
Just this year, they opened a new bespoke, state-of-the-art brewery and visitor centre in Rogerstone, where they brew their craft beer, serve it directly to the public in their Brewer Bar and Kitchen as well as operating weekly tours and tastings.
The company has also won some of the UK’s top brewing awards including their Cwtch beer winning Champion Beer of Britain in 2015 and Brewery Business of the Year in 2016 and an overall Bronze in the Champion Beer of Britain Awards in 2017.
Tiny Rebel now exports to 35 countries around the world and exports make up nearly 20% of their turnover.
The company is also a keen supporter of local charities especially St David’s Hospice Care. They also support the Welsh creative industries by sponsoring BAFTA Cymru and the Welsh Music Prize.
