Directions to Cardiff Local Health Board, Swansea Local Health Board and Monmouthshire Local Health Board (2006) (2006 No. 17)

These Directions enable a person, detained in any of the relevant public sector prisons, within the three Local Health Board areas of Cardiff, Swansea and Monmouthshire, to be treated as usually resident for the period of their detention at the address of the prison for the purposes of regulation 2(2) of the Local Health Board (Functions) (Wales) Regulations 2003. These Directions are being made under sections 16BB(4) and 126(4) of the National Health Service Act 1977.
