If you suspect a notifiable animal disease you must report it to the Animal Health and Plant Agency on 0300 303 8268.
Major notifiable diseases include:
- bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE)
- foot and mouth disease
- bovine tuberculosis (bTB)
- bluetongue
- classical swine fever
- avian influenza (bird flu)
- Newcastle disease
- scrapie
