A business park offering links from Wales to the rest of the world will officially launch on 30 September.

Bro Tathan Business Park within the Cardiff Airport and the St Athan Enterprise Zone is a significant and unique development located in an attractive setting, with a ready-to-use commercial airfield on site, close proximity to an international airport and to the Welsh capital, Cardiff.
With its strong geographical and historical heritage Bro Tathan was named after the Celtic saint who founded a church in the area in the 14 Century. It also embraces Wales’ rich bilingual culture.
Its strapline Business • Air • Innovation/Busnes • Awyr • Arloesedd signifies the vast range of its potential, and Bro Tathan will in the future become synonymous with success in those sectors, hosting ambitious companies from start-ups to globally recognised brand names.
Bro Tathan is situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, on the airfield which was transferred from military to civilian control on 1 April 2019, clearing the way for new and exciting business opportunities.
Global car icon Aston Martin is already operating there as anchor tenant with significant available space across Bro Tathan to attract further businesses and organisations. The property and land owners Welsh Government and the global property agent Savills have big ambitions for the site given its scale and the proximity to an airfield for companies needing easy access to air freight, UK and international markets.
The airfield will be operated by neighbouring Cardiff Airport, and the resurfaced 1,800m runways have already been put to excellent use by companies such as eCube Solutions, who are already occupying the site.
A high-profile launch event on 30 September will promote the vision and huge potential of Bro Tathan. Land and property developers and a range of business sectors and leaders will be invited to learn more about the site.

“This area has over 50 years’ aerospace and defence heritage, and has access to skills that have already attracted the prestigious Aston Martin to Wales, beating off competition from 20 other worldwide locations.
“The iconic luxury car manufacturer will produce the new Aston Martin DBX amongst other vehicles here, with the creation of 750 new jobs and a further 1,000 in the supply chain.
“The Bro Tathan development is going to create a buzz across the world, and I look forward to welcoming many more prestigious companies as it grows.
