Leanne Pownall

Leanne is unassuming, humble, dedicated and trustworthy. The partnership she has established with the military services based in the area ensures a high level of support for the children of service personnel in partner primary schools and in Llantwit Major School. She makes sure that staff understand the unique experiences of this group of pupils and as a result staff can support their emotional and academic needs very effectively. 

Leanne plays a huge part within the school community and always strives to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils. Her engagement with parents and the exceptionally strong links she has forged with the partner primary schools are commendable.
