Health Secretary Vaughan Gething met a young mothers group today to hear from them their thoughts and experiences of health service support in North Wales.
Vaughan Gething said:
“The Welsh Government believes in supporting parents and ensuring that children and young people have the best possible start in life.
“In our Programme for Government we have committed to implement the Healthy Child Wales Programme to ensure consistent deliver of universal health services up to age seven. The programme also includes preventative and early intervention measures and advice to support parenting and healthy lifestyle choices.
“It is important that we hear what matters to people in North Wales and I am pleased to have this opportunity to engage with this group and hear about their views and experiences.”
