Main points
- There were 13,507 people on registers of people with learning disabilities.
- 85% were living in community placements* and 15% were living in residential establishments*.
- There were 52,295 people on registers of people with physical or sensory disabilities, of whom 54% were registered as having a physical disability only.
*Not all local authorities were able to provide a breakdown for placement settings.
