Mark Thompson

Since Mark was appointed head of St Helen’s Primary School in 2010, his leadership has transformed the school. The school was undersubscribed and attendance was poor. Since then, he’s worked with staff, parents and the community to do the ‘little things’. He’s worked hard with his team and has created a wonderfully inclusive school for the wide range of communities that attend the school and the high proportion of pupils with additional learning needs.
