Public knowledge and perspectives on superfast broadband services in Wales

Research undertaken with the public around knowledge and views of superfast broadband, also known as ‘next generation’ or ‘fibre broadband’, services in Wales.

The purpose of this research is predominantly to develop our understanding of the everyday motivations and goals of individuals’ identified from the key target populations. The research provides indicative qualitative data on how the target populations understood and viewed their current internet provider and the services of superfast broadband in relation to their personal priorities. The data provide some insight into the target populations’ knowledge, perception and use of both conventional and superfast broadband services.
