Provisional figures for 2017
16 to 18 year olds
- 79.5% engaged in some kind of education or training (79.0% in 2016).
- 36.4% were in full or part-time employment (33.6% in 2016).
- 9.5% were young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) (10.5% in 2016).
19 to 24 year olds
- 38.3% engaged in some kind of education or training (37.8% in 2016).
- 63.2% were in full or part-time employment (61.4% in 2016).
- 16.2% were young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) (18.5% in 2016).
