Learners leaving Sixth Form before Year 13 | GOV.WALES

This study made use of the detailed data that we hold about learners’ personal and study characteristics.

It provides quantified evidence showing the extent of non-completion among post-16 learners attending Sixth Form. It also shows the extent of movement of these learners from Sixth Form to the Further Education sector.

The report considers the characteristics of learners who do not complete their A level and/or other Sixth Form courses. The relationship between their characteristics and their subsequent participation in Further Education settings is also considered.
