Eighteen charities will get funding from the Bereavement Support Grant over the next three years. This grant will support those experiencing loss, with special help for people in agriculture and those with complex grief.

Bereavement support in agriculture
The project will support the mental health of those bereaved in the agricultural community in Wales and nationally.
Minds in Powys, Mid and North Powys Mind
Bereavement in mind, the Powys support project
The purpose of the bereavement support project will be to address the bereavement needs of individuals of all ages across Powys.
Sandy Bear
Sandy Bear bereavement support
The project aims to improve and expand support for children, young people, and families in West Wales and Swansea.
Aberystwyth and District Hospice at Home Volunteers (HAHAV)
Growing around grief
The project will create bereavement care networks in Ceredigion to help people support each other.
2wish
2wish immediate support project
The project will provide immediate support across Wales for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person.
Marie Curie
Wales Bereavement Information and Support Service (BISS)
The project will build on Marie Curie's proven services to ensure fair access to bereavement support nationwide.
Platfform
Platfform wellbeing bereavement support
The project will provide bereavement support and counselling in Cardiff and Swansea. Online support will be available nationwide.
Ty Hafan
Enhanced bereavement support service
The project will improve and expand Tŷ Hafan’s bereavement service for children and families. It will provide support nationwide.
Hope House/Ty Gobaith
Family support for our bereaved families living in Wales
The project will fund a Family Support Worker for each hospice. This will support families in North Wales and Powys.
The City Hospice Trust Limited
Leaving no one unsupported
The project will offer outreach counselling in Cardiff. It will help people with complex bereavement needs. It will also support those who find it hard to get help.
St David Hospice Care
St David’s hospice care bereavement support project
The project will provide timely bereavement support to adults. It will cover Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen, and Powys. It will help those experiencing the loss of an adult significant other.
HOPE Trust Cardiff CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation), The Junction
The Junction
The project will support men and women in Cardiff who have experienced baby loss. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, post-termination, infertility, and pregnancy following loss.
Canolfan Felin Fach
Enfys Alice
The project will provide local, compassionate support for those affected by suicide in North Wales. The Enfys Alice model articulates the vision for support after suicide.
ACE, Action in Caerau and Ely
Co-producing inclusive bereavement support
The project will help Cardiff’s Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities. It will also support adults with learning disabilities to get the right support when they need it.
Cruse Bereavement Support (Cruse Cymru)
Wales specialist bereavement response service
This project will improve access to bereavement services for those impacted by sudden or traumatic loss. It will address inequity in support for Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities and other diverse groups. These services will be available nationwide.
Paul Sartori Foundation
Providing sustainable adult bereavement support in Pembrokeshire
The project will continue the charity’s counselling service in Pembrokeshire. It will meet demand sustainably and improve the service
Age Cymru Dyfed and Age Cymru Powys
Dyfed-Powys older person bereavement service
This pilot project will address the unique bereavement support needs of older adults in rural Mid and West Wales. It will focus on Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, and Powys.
Llamau
Llamau bereavement support service
The project will continue running and delivering this valued national bereavement support service. It will meet the grief and loss needs of everyone supported by and working within Llamau. This includes specialist counselling support. It also provides access to online resources and bitesize eLearning modules. These modules raise awareness of bereavement issues for our colleagues.
