Application for the Morlais demonstration zone and deemed planning permission in Anglesey.
Overview
The Order was applied for by Menter Môn Morlais Limited of Llangefni Town Hall, Llangefni, Anglesey, LL77 7LR.
The order will:
- confer powers on Mentor Môn Morlais Limited to construct and operate an offshore tidal energy electricity generating station. This will be located in the Irish Sea to the West of Holy Island, Anglesey,
- authorise the compulsory acquisition and use of land for the purposes of onshore works authorised under the Order.
