This page reflects our previous road investment programme. A new programme was published in the national transport delivery plan.

Current progress
We have completed the M4 junction 35 to 49 strategic outline case WelTAG stage 1 report.
Next steps
Short, medium and long term improvements have been identified. These will now progress to Stage 2 WelTAG study for further review.
