You could be eligible for government funded childcare and nursery education for children aged:
- 2 years from Flying Start, if you live in an eligible area
- 3 to 4 years from the Childcare Offer for Wales
Help with childcare costs for children under 18 years old
You could get help with the cost of childcare for children aged:
- 11 and under (16 if they are disabled) from tax-free childcare (on GOV.UK)
- 15 and under (17 if they have Additional Learning Needs) if you are a student (on studentfinancewales.co.uk)
- 15 and under (17 if they have Special Educational Needs) if you are a medical or dental student (on NHS.UK)
- 16 and under from Universal Credit childcare (on GOV.UK)
If you care for a child under 12, you could get National Insurance Credits (on GOV.UK)
