Geotagged photo requirements: Growing for the Environment (window 1 and 3)

You need to take photographs before, during and after your Growing for the Environment activity. All photographs must be geotagged photographs.

Your before photographs must clearly show the ‘baseline condition’ of the proposed location. This should be:

• after harvesting the previous crop, but
• before establishing the 'Growing for the Environment crop'

 This must be before any cultivations or drilling is undertaken.

You must take during photos in the same location. These must show during cultivations and sowing activity. These have to show the field conditions at sowing and the method of sowing.

You must take after photographs in the same location. You must take these on 15 February 2023 and they must show full, undisturbed crop cover.

It does not matter whether the photographs are portrait or landscape. You must include all relevant information.

It is your responsibility to provide enough evidence that the required management has taken place. Failure to provide enough evidence may delay or stop payment.

You will need to upload your geotagged photographs to RPW Online. We will check that the activity has been completed in the correct area as specified in the contract.
