This study explores the impact of the pandemic and the extent to which current early years programmes and policies are addressing the needs of children and families in Wales post pandemic.

This study has engaged with academics and early years practitioners through focus groups, interviews and surveys to explore the impact of the pandemic on children and families in Wales. 

The report outlines participants’ suggestions for the priorities of early years policy post pandemic. General and programme-specific recommendations are also presented.
