The Directions to Local Health Boards as to the Statement of Financial Entitlements (Relaxation of Quality and Outcomes Framework) Directions 2017 (2017 No.3)

The above Directions provide for a General Medical Services Contractor to opt of participating in the majority of the Quality and Outcomes Framework until March 2017 for the purpose of providing resource to address the needs of patients during a period of increased demand. The Direction also outlines the payment arrangements to ensure a General Medical Services contractor is not financially disadvantaged for doing so.
