The Digital Service Standards describe principles to help everyone provide better services.

The standards are grouped into themes:

  • meeting user needs
  • creating good digital teams
  • using the right technology

They were developed by the Centre for Digital Public Services (CDPS), working with a broad range of users and service providers. CDPS continue their work by supporting organisations to adopt the standards.
