National Procurement Service framework updates.
Digital procurement strategy
We ran workshops with Gartner for public sector procurement and digital stakeholders during March in north and south Wales. At the workshops, we asked for feedback on what technologies should be integral to the strategy.
We identified the following technologies:
- contract lifecycle management
- P2P suites
- supply base management
- spend analysis
This information will feed into the strategic outline business case that we are preparing. We will keep you updated on progress.
The agile digital and ICT resources agreement (ADIRA) is live. The call off template is available on Sell2Wales (login required).
Our supplier, Bloom in conjunction with its partner Atebion, is engaging with customers to see how the framework works best. For more information on the agreement, please e-mail us at: NPSICTCategoryTeam@gov.wales or visit Sell2Wales.
IT products and services (ITPS) framework
This framework is due to expire in January 2020. We are preparing an options appraisal to inform the decision about what happens when it expires.
MFDs and associated services framework
The NPS multi-functional devices (MFD) and associated services framework began on 23 January 2017 for an initial period of 2 years, with an option to extend for up to 2 years.
We have already extended the framework until 22 January 2020. Following an options appraisal, we have now decided to extend the framework by a further 12 months (until 22 January 2021). This is the last time we are able to extend this framework.
NPS structured cabling framework agreement
This framework will not be extended and will expire on the 31 July 2019.
Existing call-off contract commitments (that have an expiry date beyond the 31 July 2019) may continue beyond the expiry of the framework.
