National Procurement Service framework updates.
Continued funding for eProcurement tools
The Minister for Finance and Trefnydd has agreed to continue funding for eProcurement tools for the Welsh public sector for up to 2 years, until March 2022. The Welsh Government will be setting up new arrangements via existing procurement frameworks for continued service provision. We will provide further updates as work progresses.
Jaggaer held a customer forum event on 9 July where they provided an overview of the changes made to the platform in release 19.1. ESPD functionality is now available, but will need to be switched on as part of release 19.1. Before we do this, we want to test the functionality. We are still looking for volunteers to help us with this and to provide feedback. Thank you to all those that have already contacted us; we will be in touch shortly with more information.

IT products and services 2 (ITPS2)
The new ITPS2 agreement is due to go live in June 2020. We are continuing to engage with stakeholders, and had a call with customers on 18 July where we provided an overview of the framework strategy. We will set up technical groups to discuss the specification in September.
If you would like to join one of the technical groups or if you would like copies of the slides we have issued so far, please contact NPSICTCategoryTeam@gov.wales
Library management services framework
This framework is due to expire in September 2019. The options appraisal has been issued to the Project Board and customers, for consultation and approval to help us to develop a new strategy. We will inform customers of the outcome once we have a decision.
