Supply of building materials framework (NPS-CFM-0085-18)

Our building materials framework is helping suppliers deliver social value through some exciting initiatives:

LBS builders merchants

Ammanford-based firm, LBS Builders Merchants, are taking advantage of the UK government’s Kickstart Scheme by offering 41 six-month work placements to young adults aged between 16-24, currently on Universal Credit.

The scheme enables businesses to give unemployed young people, future opportunities by creating high-quality, UK government subsidised jobs within Wales.

The Screwfix Foundation are offering local registered charities and non-profit organisations funding of up to £5,000. They work with both national and local charities, donating funding to a range of projects. Details of some of the projects they have helped are on the Sell2Wales website.

For further information on the Screwfix Foundation and how to apply for funding, visit the Screwfix Foundation website.

Dulux decorator centre (Akzonobel)

Dulux Decorator Centre are celebrating their 125 year anniversary by donating to 125 community organisations that have helped fight against coronavirus.
