Item 1: Minutes of previous meeting
1.1 The First Minister welcomed attendees to the meeting. The Board agreed the minutes of the previous meeting held on 16 June 2022.
Item 2: Progress update
2.1 The Board discussed various commitments covered in the progress update and agreed next steps. Important discussions were underway across the Agreement commitments but there were particularly pressing matters to discuss regarding the childcare commitment. The discussion also included consideration of the latest position on the Agriculture Bill and on the proposed National School of Government.
Item 3: Senedd reform and Constitution Commission
3.1 The Director for Constitution and Justice updated the Board on the progress being made on Senedd reform.
3.2 The Constitutional Commission continued to work on its interim report and public engagement, including at the Eisteddfod. A further meeting between the Co-chairs, First Minister and Leader of Plaid Cymru was being arranged for the autumn.
Item 4: Comms update
4.1 The Board noted the joint-communications announcements that had taken place since the last meeting.
