Item 1: Minutes of the Previous Meeting
1.1 The Board agreed the minutes of last meeting without comment.
Item 2: Progress Update
2.1 The First Minister welcomed recent progress in terms of Designated Member and Special Adviser appointments. The Board discussed an initial draft list of priorities to be taken forward immediately.
2.2 The Board reflected on next steps and challenges for policy areas.
Item 3: Policy Committees – Forward Look
3.1 The Board discussed the options put forward to implement the policy committees. The Board agreed to have a single standing policy committee, which could be flexible and tailored to specific policies according to their timelines for decision-making.
3.2 The Board discussed the Finance Committee.
3.3 The Board agreed there should be the least variation possible from the language agreed by both parties within the Mechanisms document when documents, which related to the Co-operation Agreement, were drafted.
Item 4: Senedd Reform and Constitutional Committee
4.1 The Board discussed Senedd reform, including the response to the Committee.
