Over the coming months the First Minister will also be holding Carwyn Connect events in Haverfordwest on 13 October and Caerphilly on 17 November. More details will follow on these two events.

The Carwyn Connect events give people the opportunity to ask the First Minister questions, face to face, on any issues which affect them or their local community.

The session in Wrexham will take place between 6pm and 7.30pm on Thursday 15 September at the Catrin Finch Centre [Glyndwr University, Wrexham, LL11 2AW]

If you have a question for the Welsh Government, want to raise issues affecting your community or have a great idea to make your home town a better place to live then why not come along to the Wrexham Carwyn Connect event.

Events are free but people are encouraged to register their interest in attending online via Eventbrite - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/cyfarfod-carwyncarwyn-connect-tickets-27404707217?aff=ehomecard

You can ask your questions in a number of ways. You can submit your question when you arrive at the venue, doors open at 5.30pm; in advance via email on cabinetcommunications@wales.gsi.gov.uk or via Twitter using @fmwales with the hashtag #carwynconnect.

First Minister of Wales Carwyn Jones said:

"Over the past year, I have travelled across the country to hear the views of local communities and answer the burning questions of the people of Wales.

“I am pleased to announce the next event will take place in Wrexham with further sessions to come in Haverfordwest and Caerphilly. I want to see as many people as possible at the events.

“A huge variety of topics have come up in previous events, and a lot of positive discussion.  I’m sure this will be the case in Wrexham too.

“This is your chance to meet and speak with me in person. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all.”
