Lesley Griffiths has announced the reappointment of four members of the Wales Animal Health and Welfare Framework Group.
This was published under the 2016 to 2021 administration of the Welsh Government
Joanna Price, David Davies, Ifan Lloyd and Moss Jones new term of appointment will commence on 1st June 2017 and will last for three years.
The Wales Animal Health and Welfare Framework Group was established to support the development and implementation of the Wales Animal Health and Welfare Framework. It’s key role is to link the Welsh Government, livestock keepers, other animal owners and industry representatives, covering the whole spectrum of animal health & welfare issues.
The Cabinet Secretary said:
“I am delighted to announce the reappointments to the Wales Animal Health and Welfare Framework Group and I look forward to working with the members in the future on animal health and welfare issues.”
The Cabinet Secretary will be looking to recruit two further members to the Group through the public appointment process later in the year.
A current member of the Group, Huw Davies, is not seeking reappointment. The Cabinet Secretary has thanked Mr Davies for his ongoing support as a member of the Group.
