Vehicle headway, or the headway between vehicles, is defined as the time between two vehicles passing the same point.

Term o faes rheoli llif traffig. Weithiau defnyddir y term ‘time headway’ ar gyfer y cysyniad hwn. Mae rhai amgylchiadau, gall ‘headway’ gyfeirio at y pellter rhwng cerbydau ar y ffordd. Yn yr achosion hynny, argymhellir defnyddio ‘pellter rhwng cerbydau’.
