Fibre on Demand is a service that enables most existing superfast broadband customers to upgrade to ultrafast or gigabit speeds.

It may also be available to businesses that are not currently connected to superfast broadband.

FoD is a new service delivered by the network operator Openreach via a service provider. According to Openreach there are currently only 4 providers offering the service. More information on these providers is available on the Openreach website.

If you are part of a rural community, support may be available from the UK Government to connect to gigabit capable broadband. Those with speeds of less than 30Mbps may be eligible for additional funding from the Welsh Government towards these costs.
