Dear                  ,

ATISN 16124

I wrote to you on 7 March regarding your request for information regarding the potential scrapping of A55 roundabout removal plans. I apologise for the delay in responding to you.

Information requested

You asked:

  1. How much money the Welsh Government has spent on the roundabout removal project in total
  1. How much money the Welsh Government has spent on consultation fees regarding this project (i.e. - getting artist impressions done)

Our Response

I can confirm the Welsh Government holds information captured by your request.

For question one, I can confirm that £8.9 million of Welsh Government funding has been spent on the project in total.

For question two, costs purely attributed to consultation come to £207k.
