This is not the latest release in the series: Ad-hoc statistical requests
Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) now publishes a secondary care dashboard which provides data on outpatient appointments, inpatient admissions and day case activity in Wales. The dashboard data have a broader coverage than the figures in the attached release and are therefore not directly comparable. Specifically, inpatient and day case data on the dashboard are not limited to elective admissions but include regular day and night admissions and psychiatric specialties, while the outpatient data include appointments where the patient did not attend. Data from Velindre NHS Trust, which are not included here, are also included in the dashboard data.
