Technical Advice Note (TAN) 15: Development and Flood Risk (2004)
It provides advice on matters including the use of development advice maps to determine flood risk issues, how to assess the flooding consequences of proposed development and action that can be taken through development plans and development control (management) procedures to mitigate flood risk when planning for new development.
The Development Advice Map (DAM) which supplements TAN 15 is published by Natural Resources Wales.
