In 'One Wales' we committed to ensure an additional 6,500 affordable homes were delivered in Wales between 2007 and 2011.

Many rural communities in Wales face acute housing affordability and supply problems, which threaten the economic, social and cultural sustainability of these communities and make it very difficult for local people to access suitable accommodation.
