Outline planning permission has been refused for residential development.

The application sought outline planning permission for residential development (erection of 100 dwellings and means of access) and recreational open space provision.

The planning application was subject to a public hearing. The Inspector appointed to hold the hearing prepared a report for the Minister for Housing and Regeneration.

The Minister agreed with the Inspector's recommendation that outline planning permission should be refused.
