Appeal Search

The quickest way to search is to enter the final part of the appeal reference, e.g.:

Appeal Search  (external link)

The search facility allows you to search using other criteria (such as site address).

Once you have located the appeal, you can view selected details about the case and view any documents published to the case, including the decision once made. Where they aren’t available, you should be able to view them at the offices of the relevant local authority dealing with the appeal, and sometimes, the local authority may also have published them on their website.

For decisions that are older than 5 years, please contact the relevant local authority.

Comment on an appeal

To comment on an appeal it must:

  • be valid,
  • have started,
  • permit representations at appeal stage,
  • the deadline for the submission of representations must not have passed.

Comments submitted after the deadline may be considered invalid and returned to the sender.

The deadlines (representation due dates) are published on each case summary page.

You can send us individual documents using these facilities, but each one must be no bigger than 15MB.
