The Communities First Programme is supported by three services; Training and Support, Workforce Development and Communications.

Training and Support

The service provider is Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA), the service provides a wide range of training and advice support to Communities First Clusters. This includes learning support through action learning, a peer to peer support system which will enable Cluster leaders to share knowledge around their projects and activities and therefore build sustainability into the Programme.

Workforce Development

The service provider is Community Development Cymru (CDC), the service provides endorsement to training provisions for those working in community development. The community development workforce and cross-sector partners will therefore be better equipped and up skilled to work to address anti-poverty, equalities and social justice agendas.
