An initiative for employers to improve the health of the workforce and their organisation.

The Corporate Health Standard, run by the Welsh Government, is the quality mark for workplace health promotion in Wales.logo

It is presented in bronze, silver, gold and platinum categories to public, private and third sector organisations implementing practices to promote the health and well-being of their employees.  The free service is delivered by Public Health Wales.

Like other workplace quality initiatives, it is a progressive programme and organisations are reassessed every three years. The work to achieve the standard is consistent with the business excellence model, which drives quality and organisational development in many organisations.

“Healthy employees mean happy employees. Happy employees like what they do. People who like what they do, do it better…” Rebecca Walters, Admiral

“This has been really rewarding for everyone. We get great feedback. Five years ago our sickness level was around 10%, now it’s down to 3% - 4% and we believe Arrivalivin has played a big part in the reduction.”
Barry Mellor, Arriva Buses Wales
