The national diet and nutrition survey
This survey looks at what people eat, and what nutrients they get from their diets. We have funded a Welsh sample of 200 people a year (100 adults and 100 children) since 2009. This data is analysed every four years.
From 1 October 2010 responsibility for nutrition legislation in Wales transferred to us from the Food Standards Agency. We are responsible for making sure European wide nutrition legislation is put into Welsh law.
