The Agricultural Dwelling House Committees protect the rights of farm and forestry workers, and their families.

Qualifying workers, successors and retired workers may be allowed to remain in farm accommodation.

Farmers can apply to have the protected worker re-housed, if the accommodation is required for another worker. When this happens the Committees may make judgements to ensure fairness and legality.
