The Agricultural Dwelling House Advisory Committees (ADHAC) exist to protect the rights of farm and forestry workers, and their families.

Under the Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976 and the Housing Act 1988, qualifying workers, including retired workers and their successors may be allowed to remain in farm accommodation. However, the farmer may apply to the local Housing Authority to have the protected worker re-housed, if the accommodation is required for another worker.

The Committees make judgements in such cases, to ensure fairness and legality.
