How we are working to manage the levels of air pollution in Neath Port Talbot.

We have produced this Action Plan to explain the additional measures that will be taken when the particulate matter (dust) below 10 microns in diameter (PM10) limit values are exceeded.
The data team considers what further evidence is needed to help improve PM10 (particulate matter under 10 microns in size) concentrations in Port Talbot.

The Air Quality Expert Group (AQEG) is an advisory group that provides independent scientific advice on air quality. It gives advice on levels, sources and types of air pollutants in the UK. It does not advise on health impacts or air quality standards.
